In this work I adapt a poem i wrote as a young man in love. I painted the face in the work first, and then looked for an appropriate verse. AS i re-read my poem I realised it now referred to myself, that I HAD buried wounding and that now I was prepared to walk with my inner child, and together find love. “I’m home again” speaks of a return to self.
